I'm from Wisconsin, so when we travel to go to our big family Thanksgiving we're always tasked with bringing cheese. Which makes sense, the cheese in Wisconsin is infinitely better than it is here in Minnesota. The Cities are like 30 minutes away from the border and still we have a garbage selection, but I digress.
This soup was real easy. Made a big batch and froze some because duh. But feel free to cut this in half if you'd like a more manageable size.
- 1 Real Big Onion
- 4 Celery Stalks
- 4 Carrots ( I used 5 because one was kinda small)
- 6 Cloves of Garlic (I love garlic)
- 1 Cup of White Wine
- 4 Cups Cooked Turkey
- 10 Cups Chicken or Turkey Stock (Reduced Sodium)
- 2 Cups Wild Rice
- 1 Pint Heavy Cream
- Hearty pinch of Fresh Rosemary and Parsley
